The hungry crowds at Baguettes quickly outgrew that space last year and Brett Bohlmann had to make fast decisions for his second restaurant, an expansion he wanted in Elk Grove not Sacramento.
“Our mayor Steve Detrick, he helped us out with getting a patio and just helping us connect with the city and getting all of our permits in line, “ he said.
That`s the kind of helpful hand-holding that`s attracting industry small and large to Elk Grove.
The hand-holding , combined with lowered fees and an aggressive incentive package, is luring in replacements for the hundreds of jobs that have left Elk Grove in the last decade.
